In those scenarios, you need a capable data recovery software like Remo Data Recovery Pro that can scan, find, and recover lost or deleted files. Let us find out what features the software offers and how to use it to recover your deleted or lost files and folders.

Features of Remo Data Recovery

Recover Lost or Deleted Files and Folders: Obviously, Remo Data Recovery software can recover the deleted and lost files and folders with just a few clicks. The good thing is the scanning and recovery process is pretty fast. Moreover, the software can detect and recover files based on their unique signatures. Recover Entire Partitions or Volumes: Along with regular files and folders, you can also recover entire partitions or volumes. This is particularly useful when you’ve accidentally deleted a partition while managing the partitions. Restore Data After Formatting or Partitioning: Even after formatting, reformatting, and partitioning, you can use Remo software to recover or restore files and folders. This feature is useful with thumb drives and memory cards. Ability to Restore Recycle Bin or Trash: If you’ve just emptied the Recycle Bin (Windows) or Trash (MacOS), you can use Remo Data Recovery to completely restore the data in the Recycle Bin or Trash with just a few clicks. Supports Recovery from Variety of Storage Mediums: Besides regular internal hard drives, you can recover data from a variety of storage mediums like thumb drives, memory cards, external hard drives, FireWire drivers, etc. Identify Over 300 Different File Types: Remo Data Recovery software can identify and safely recover over 300 different types of files. Ability to Create Disk Images: If your hard drive is old and has some bad sectors, then recovering the data can be a hassle. To deal with this you can use the Disk Images feature in Remo software. This feature lets you create a replica of the selected partition or volume in the form of a Disk Image. Once created, you can recover data from that Disk Image. Save Recovery Sessions: When you scan a drive for lost files and folders and get the results, you can save the scanning session for later use. This saves a lot of time in the future, as you can simply open the session file and start recovering the lost data. Supports Multiple Platforms: Remo Data Recovery software supports Windows, Mac, and Android platforms.

Installation and Usage

Note: for this demonstration, I’m using the Windows version of Remo Data Recovery. However, the procedure to recover files is pretty similar even if you are using a Mac. Using Remo data recovery software is pretty easy and straightforward. To start, download and install Remo data recovery like any other software.

After installing, you need to register the product to use it. To do that, click on the “Register” option appearing on the upper right corner.

Click on the option “Enter the License Key.” If you have Remo cloud subscription, then select the option “RemoONE Login.”

Here, enter the license key and click on the “Activate” button.

After activating, you can proceed to recovering your data. Since I want to recover individual files, I’m selecting the option “Recover Files.”

Now, if you’ve accidentally deleted the files, then select the option “Recover Deleted Files.” Otherwise, select the option “Recover Lost Files.” Since I’ve actually deleted my files, I’m selecting the option “Recover Deleted Files.”

Here, select the drive you want to recover the files from and click on the “Next” icon.

The above action will start the scanning process and shows all the files and folders in the drive. All the deleted or lost files and folders will have a little cross mark on the file or folder icon. If you want to you can filter the deleted files by clicking on the “Show Deleted” option on the navigation bar.

Once you filter the results, this is how it looks.

Since the software scans the entire partition, you can recover lost files located deep inside a folder. As you can see from the below image, I’m trying to recover some image files. To recover the files, simply select the checkboxes next to the files and click on the “Next” icon. If you want to, you can also preview the files by simply double-clicking on them.

By clicking on the browse button, select the destination folder or drive where you want to save the recovered files. If you want to, you can also configure other advanced configurations like compression settings. Once configured, click on the “Next” icon to continue.

If everything goes well, you will have your files and folders recovered to the destination folder.

Conclusion

All in all, Remo Data Recovery is pretty useful and capable of recovering deleted or lost files, folders, and partitions. If you are in need of recovering data or if you just want to be on the safe side while dealing with the worst possible situations, then do give Remo Data Recovery software a try. Of course, there are limitations to any data recovery software. For instance, to successfully recover lost or deleted data, you have to act as soon as possible before the data is overwritten.
