What most people will do when they lose the cursor is to move it around on the screen. Alternatively, you can also increase the mouse cursor size so it is easier to locate.

  1. Open “System Preferences” from the Apple Menu.

  2. Click on “Accessibility.”

  3. Open the “Display” section. Here, you should see an option to increase the cursor’s default width and height. By boosting the size to between 0.5 and 1 tick marks (about twenty-five to fifity percent larger than normal), the cursor will be far more noticeable.

You shouldn’t worry about the mouse cursor’s accuracy if its size is increased. The cursor will still work on a per-pixel basis and allow you to select items as you would with a standard-sized cursor.
