The installation is pretty straightforward. Go to Desura’s homepage and click the “Download Desura” button. Depending on your OS, it will download either an .exe or a tar file. For Linux, you just have to extract the tar file and double-click the Desura file. The installer will start and download the module from the server. Once the installation is completed, you will be able to login to Desura.
If you do not have an account with Desura, this is the time to create it. The registration is free. Once you are logged in, you will be able to search for games.
At each game page, you can watch the game trailer, read the summary and check out the comments of other users. If you like what you see, simply click the “Install game” button at the top right of the screen to install (or buy) the game.
For all those games that you have installed, you will be able to find them on the Play tab. You can either launch the game or uninstall them. It is always good to be able to manage all your games in one place.
